HNB VISA® Check & HNB ATM Cards

Your HNB Visa Check Card is convenient and easy to use to get cash and pay for everyday purchases anywhere Visa® is accepted.

When you use your HNB Visa® Check Card to make a purchase, the money is deducted right from your checking account here at The Honesdale National Bank. The merchant may ask you to choose either “credit” or “debit”. By choosing the debit function you must enter your PIN (Personal Identification Number). When choosing the credit function, the funds still come out of your HNB checking account, but you avoid having anyone see you enter your PIN. Your HNB Visa® Check Card is accepted wherever you see the Visa® logo displayed.

Your HNB MoneyMaker ATM Card to withdraw cash, check balances or transfer funds between accounts at ATMs.
Choose the “Debit” option to make purchases at retail locations using your PIN (Personal Identification Number).

How to Report a Lost or Stolen Check Card

Notify us immediately if your card becomes lost or stolen by using the appropriate phone number shown below.

New & Re-issued cards require activation by: Performing a pinned transaction, logging on to NetTeller internet banking, Activating it using the 24-hour Telephone Banker, or by calling or visiting your local HNB branch.

PLEASE NOTE: you will not be liable for any unauthorized use that occurs after you notify us. Regardless, if we are notified of your lost or stolen credit card within 24 hours, your liability will not exceed $50.00.
