NetTeller Internet Banking customers at HNB can now receive account statements and notices electronically. eDocs are just like your original paper statement or notice, but are accessed online rather than delivered by U.S. Mail. They can be viewed, saved or even printed if you must. Apply Securely Online.
Environmentally Friendly – Receiving your bank account statement or notice electronically reduces the usage and impact of our natural resources. So you will you help reduce the amount of paper used and save valuable natural resources. Since you will no longer receive a paper statement, we recommend you store your eDocs to a file on your flash drive or CD-R.
Quick Delivery – With eDocs, you’ll receive your statements and notices sooner, than if you had to wait for them in the mail. Unlike your paper statements or notices, eDocs provides rapid availability – usually the evening of the day they are generated. An email will be sent informing you that a statement or notice is available for to you retrieve. eDocs are generally accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; however, they may be unavailable from time to time for routine software and hardware maintenance or due to unscheduled down time.
Accessible Anywhere – Because the eDocs notice is emailed to you, you can access your statement or notice from anywhere in the world. All you need is a computer equipped with the recommended system requirements and an Internet connection. If you are away from home and log on to Internet Banking, just answer the challenge question to verify your identity and you can view your statement directly from the eDocs portion of Internet Banking.

What is eDocs?
eDocs is an electronic version of your bank documents, statements or notices, that may be viewed on our Net Teller Internet Banking site. You can view, save or download eDocs right from your computer. Rather than printing your statements, we recommend you store your eDocs to a file on your flash drive or CD-R.
How do I apply?
Apply Securely Online or sign on to Net Teller, HNB’s Free Internet Banking Service, click on eDocs Tab and follow the instructions. Insert your E-mail Address & Subject Message, read the agreement, check the I Agree box and click Enroll. It’s that easy.
Is there a fee for eDocs?
Even though HNB pays a fee for the service to our processor, there is not a cost for you to use this fast, safe and environmentally friendly delivery service.
How do I view and/or save my statements and notices?
After signing on to Net Teller, click on the eDocs tab. Under the Statements and Notices tab, use the Pull-Down Menu next to View Statements/Notices for: to select the proper account.
Can I un-enroll?
Yes, you may un-enroll for specific statements or notices or for the entire service at any time. Sign on to Net Teller, Internet Banking, select the eDocs tab; select Documents & Settings and deselect each account or notice by removing the check mark in the appropriate box.
Will I still receive paper statements?
No. Once you are enrolled for eDocs, your next statement or notice will be delivered via eDocs. Even though you are opting out from receiving your statement(s)/notice(s) by U.S. Mail, you always have the option to un-enroll in eDocs and receive paper statements and notices.
Do I need special software?
Adobe Acrobat Reader is free software used for viewing and printing electronic forms like eDocs. You will need this software installed on your computer to properly display, download or even print your statement and notices. What if I accidentally delete my eDocs email notification? Can I still view them?
Access the your statements and notices by clicking on the eDocs tab via Internet Banking within the 60 days for Statements and 30 days for Notices. Statements (in a different format) are in Net Teller for up to 12 months.
How will I know when my E-Statement or E-Notice is ready?
You will receive an E-Mail with a special message that you select as the Subject.
Will I still receive images of my cancelled checks?
If you presently receive images of your checks, they will continue to be delivered by eDocs.
How many people can receive the same eDocs statement or notice?
One – just like your current paper statement. Just as your current paper statement is delivered to one mailbox, your eDocs availability Email will be sent to one Email address and is available to one Net Teller ID.
What if my E-mail Address changes?
To continue receiving the email notice of your latest eDocs, you will need to update your email address under the Options Tab via Internet Banking. Click on the eDocs tab, then Email to update this information. It is important to maintain a current email address.
How long are statements and notices available?
Statements and Notices are available for download and the statements will be available for 60 days and the notices for 30 days. Statements in a different format can be accessed in Net Teller for up to 12 months.
Will my statement cycle remain the same?
Yes, your statement will remain on the same cycle. In fact, with eDocs you will receive your statement faster because you won’t have to wait for it to be delivered by the U.S. Mail.
